HsCats Developed By Dale Fedorchik, Line Of Sight Productions
05-Feb-92 Version 1.1 PREHSCUP.EXE
First Beta Version complete for the new Wildcat 3.02
IbmCom Routine by Wayne Brown
Writes to Bimodem.cfg file by Dave Krause
Comm Interface by Dave Krause
PREHSCUP.EXE is run before the start of a HsLink session
in the upload batch file. PREHSCUP.EXE will write various
info to the HsLink.cfg file including the path to the
node'e ep directory where the uploaded files will be placed.
Wildcat will move the files to the normal user selected area
after the session is complete.
07-Feb-92 Version 1.2
Added enviroment variables to cat.bat file that I read for
program operation. This was to correct a problem that I was
getting under lantastic operation.
09-Feb-92 Version 1.3
Corrected bugs found that prevented working properly.
05-Feb-92 Version 1.1 AFTHSCUP.EXE
As above only it is run in batch file after the HsLink
upload has occured. AFTHSCUP.EXE will check to see if any
downloads occured during the upload session. If they did
it will change the user record and file record to reflect
the download occuring. The upload portion of the transfer
is handled by Wildcat in the way it normally does with any
upload. The only thing this prevents is the user adding to
the upload while inside the protocol. Wildcat is only going
to acknowledge the files uploaded that the user stated at the
beginning of the upload.

09-Feb-92 Version 1.3
Corrected bugs found that prevented working properly.
05-Feb-92 Version 1.1 PREHSCDN.EXE
As above only it is run in a batch file before the HsLink
download occurs. PREHSCDN.EXE will prompt the user to enter
an area to upload to. This is the event the user does a bi-
directional transfer. It will write various info to the
HsLink.cfg file, including the upload path for files uploaded.

05-Feb-92 Version 1.1 AFTHSCDN.EXE
As above only it is run in a batch file after the HsLink
download occurs. AFTHSCDN.EXE will allow Wildcat to do all
work concerned regarding files to download and statistic
updates from downloads made. It will then check to see if
any uploads occured during the session and add them to the
database. It will prompt the user for a description for each
file uploaded and then use your SCANFILE.BAT file to check
for errors in the file. I use CatScan myself and it works
great. I have not tested SCANFILE.BAT with anything other
than CatScan at the moment. If the scan creates a file called
SCANFILE.BAD I then flag that file as failed scan in the WC
database, and subtract the file upload status and kilobytes
from the users record. I am not sure how Wildcat will react
if your scanner also trys to set these variables too.

NOTE: This is the third version of HsCats I am releasing. In
that respect it is still beta. I am thankful to all that
have used other utilities of mine in the past. To those who
have registered... It's you folks that make the countless hours
behind this damn machine worthwhile.
Please keep me posted as to any problems you may find.
